The company was established in Austria in 1990 having main office in World Trade Center, Vienna (1991-1995), then moved to its HQ to Donaustadt Vienna. The company is the member of Austrian Economic Trade Chamber.
Our business activities were initially related to distribution of microelectronics components, system integration, implementing of innovative technologies RFID, optical crystals for research and developing advanced ICT solutions for business performance management. Collaboration with UN organizations
GOLEM company has long history of successful collaboration with United Nations Industrial Development Organization in Vienna providing customised outsourcing applications based on Pharos Navigator® software, reelvant training and consulting. Its specific milestones are as follows:
UNIDO Pharos software suite had been implemented in about 3000 small and medium enterprises in several UNIDO capacity building and industrial modernization programmes in Bahrain, China, Colombia, Cuba, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Kenya, Lebanon, Poland, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Ukraine, Uganda, United Kingdom, USA, Venezuela, and Zambia. Participation in international RDI and standardization
Based on strong practical and theoretical experience including our support for the Smart Urbana (H2020 project experiment) and Smart Pedestrian Nets (JPI Urban Europe project) and SmartMozionAge (H2020 project experiment), we contributed to the Focus Group on Data Processing and Management to support IoT and Smart Cities & Communities (FG-DPM), established by ITU-T Study Group 20.
