It draws on a core medical knowledge base, speaks like a human, and reminds, recommends, and asks about health and wellbeing status — backed by evidence, charts, and tables.

What sets it apart from a human companion is its ability to continuously collect and automatically analyse many diverse biomarkers alongside psychological, emotional, and living-environment data — then inform the host and authorised caregivers about actual or predicted critical situations, in the same conversational way a healthcare professional would.

The proof-of-concept was tested in the lab and through Horizon 2020 project experiments — including SmartMozionAge, iTwinBuild, BRAINE, and WELLBASED — and continues to advance through new international projects raising its technology readiness level. The result is a meaningful step toward the Healthcare Internet of Things (H-IoT) and a new generation of healthcare ecosystem services.

Our Horizon Europe EIC Accelerator proposal was awarded the Seal of Excellence as a COVID-19 Response by the European Commission in 2020, scored among roughly 4,000 applications in a highly competitive evaluation and recommended for investment funding.
